Dear Mr. Rasplicka:

This will acknowledge receipt of your FAX of May 5, 1998 asking me to repeat the test against Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus using this technique of rubbing the Ozonated Olive Oil on the Mueller Hinton Plate rather than expecting the Ozonated Olive Oil to diffuse into the Mueller Hinton Medium.

The Ozonated Olive Oil was tested against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa as outlined in the October, 1996 Letter to the Editor to Townsend Letter for Doctors & Patients entitled "Not All Colloidal Silver Products are Created Equal!", only it was rubbed on the Mueller Hinton Medium. The results of the Ozonated Olive Oil, antibiotic discs and bacteria are as follows:

Antibiotics:
Bacteria Ampicillin Cephalothin Ozonated Olive Oil
Escherichia coli 18 mm 19 mm Growth
Repeated twice
Normal range 16 - 22 mm 15 - 21 mm

Antibiotics:
Bacteria Carbenicillin Ozonated Olive Oil
Pseudomonas aeruginosa 17 mm No Growth
One Test
Normal range 18 - 24 mm

Antibiotics:
Bacteria Ampicillin Oxacillin Ozonated Olive Oil
Staphylococcus aureus 30 mm 20 mm No Growth
One Test
Normal range 27 - 35 mm 18 - 24mm

Sincerely

J. P. Kilbourn, Ph. D.
Laboratory Director
